Root Certificate Installation on Windows Mobile 5.0 and 2003 SE
This is a graphical version of our instructions from this page.
- Download the root certificate from the RapidSSL web site on to your desktop.
- Double click on the certificate.

- Click on the tab "Details" and choose "Copy to File".

- The "Certificate Export Wizard" will now start. Click Next on the first screen.
 - Choose "DER encoded Binary" and click next.

- Give the file a new name ending in .cer

- Click Next.

- Click on Finish and the export will complete.

- Use Active Sync to transfer this file to the Windows Mobile device. You can also beam it, or use Bluetooth.

- On the Windows Mobile device, us File Explorer to find the file and click on it.
- You should get a prompt about installing the certificate. Accept the prompt.

- Verify that the certificate is installed, in Settings, System, Certificates and select Root.
