Like it's bigger brother Windows 9x, ME, NT and Windows 2000, the Windows Mobile OS has a registry. Sometimes you might need to edit this. However unlike it's bigger brothers, Microsoft have not supplied a registry editor with the operating system. Therefore you must download a third party tool.
There are various registry editors available. Check your favourite software download site for more.

Once you have downloaded and installed the Registry editor you can use it to view and editor your own registry.
Usual registry warnings that apply to your desktop machine also apply here - if you don't know what you are doing, then you shouldn't be messing around in the registry. Once false move could result in hard reset being required.
