The easiest way to get a root certificate in to the Windows Mobile device, is to direct import it. This is simply a matter of tapping on the certificate and letting it install. This page is how to use that method of importing a certificate. If you find that this method doesn't work, or you would like to import the certificate as part of a general setup procedure, then you may want to try the alternative method using XML files. More information on that method is here. Getting the Certificate in the right format To use the tool to import the certificate to the handheld device, it needs to be in the correct "DER" format.
